New Six Brew Bantha Track

Canada Canada Canada Canada. Always dishing out the goods (I was listening to Shooting Spree before posting this, check them please, one of Canada's best). Six Brew Bantha are one of the many bands to join the "Done A Split With Suffering Mind" club, and their already fantastic 7" is just on the brink of release on Halo Of Flies Records. Digging the über metal cover art, heavily. Suffering Mind's side was put up a couple months ago, and it rips, as you should expect (check it here), and a little while ago Six Brew Bantha put up a track from theirs. Definitely the cleanest and most metallically sharp the band has sounded, cutthroat recording. And still blasting as fast as ever, seemingly playing 6 songs all in one. Check the new track, "Excesscrement" (try saying that 5 times fast) below, and lurk around Halo Of Flies Records for any sign of a release date.

Exclusive Premier of A New Priapus Track, "Adversus"

Operation Grindcore is very happy to debut this brand-spanking new track from the North Carolina lords of tech-grind, Priapus. This new track, entitled "Adversus", will be joining another new track for an upcoming split 7" with INTHESHIT, which should actually be out very soon on the mighty Give Praise Records. There will also be a new shirt design, featuring the art above. But this track, do I really need to tell you it's good? Anyone with a brainstem should know that anything Priapus grinds out is pure win. Riffs that crunch, squeal, skronk, screech, and chug come at you a mile a second, and the vocal and drum performances are equally impressive. Any local scene would be blessed to have a band like Priapus in their ranks. Stream the track below, and be sure to pick up the 7" when it comes out.

Robocop Premier "Psychic Transferal"!

Check out this awesome new Robocop song called "Psychic Transferal" from their upcoming split with Detroit. Here is what Ryan had to say about it:

"This song is about Issei Sagawa, the Japanese murder, cannibal, and food critic. If one takes a Freudian perspective, there is inherently this linkage between sex and death, and I suppose if you've seen Juzo Itami's Tampopo, you can guess where food wedges its way in there. There is also an interest in the possibility of transmitting (transmuting?) knowledge through consumption. Finally there's this thread that runs through the album about hidden codes in language and other forms of communication. In this case there is a sense in which if we find a way to decode this, and commit an act provocative enough it may provide cultural immortality.

The track I've sent is unmastered, but in most respects it is in it's final form."

Priapus Premier New Track And Give You Their Favorite Underrated Grindcore Albums

Priapus rule, plain and simple. Air Loom is one of my favorite releases of the year and if you haven't listened to it yet, you need to now! JEREMY(Guitar)

Watchmaker–Kill.Crush.Destroy
I love everything about this album. I’m really big into shit that I can listen to over and over and still discover new things each time, and this is absolutely one of those records. Great riffs all over this – really twisted, fucked up & dissonant guitar work that brings to mind the more recent albums from Deathspell Omega & Ulcerate. What a great album – so good that I can forgive the usage of a fucking wah-wah pedal on “Mournful Visage”. Seriously, I fucking hate wah-wah pedals.

Hemdale/Exit-13 Split
While I don’t think this split contains the best material from either band, the combination of Exit-13 and Hemdale is the auditory equivalent of being at the receiving end of Mike Tyson ’88 (when he was saying insanely ignorant shit like “I’ll fuck you til you love me, faggot”). Hemdale’s tracks suffer from some of the worst guitar tone I’ve ever heard, but no fucks given, the snare drum sounds like a gunshot – this is some Cephalotripsy-level shit. This band still has some of the most devastating, sludge-ass breakdowns I’ve ever heard and the vocals are absolutely killer: raw and angry as hell (if I lived in Ohio, I’d be pissed off too). The Exit-13 side of this might be even better, though – the bass tone here could take out a tank, and the vocals are all over the place without sounding like they’re trying to be some wacky Mike Patton shit. Some awesome riffage here as well! 0:50 in “Black Weakeners” = balls moshed off. I could ramble about this split forever, but just GET THIS.

Jigsore Terror–World End Carnage
3 dudes from somewhere cold as fuck in Scandinavia. I know almost nothing about this band, since I only have this album on a beat up CD-R that looks like a fat guy chewed on it, but it still plays! Tough as fuck, just like this band. Really good crusty/d-beaty grindcore with some massive riffs – I don’t know what makes Swedish music so catchy (regardless of genre), but this is a great album with awesome hooks.

Exclusive Debut of the New Gripe Song "Greed Thought"

Wow, another great track premier in less than a week! Gripe are one of the best bands going right now. Their EP The Future Doesn't Need You is currently my favorite release of the year, so when I found out that they were going to be releasing a new 7" EP called Pig Servant, I thought it would be great if they premiered a new track here on OG, and they thought so too. So now enjoy an unmastered version of "Greed Thought", fifty three seconds of pure grind madness and also keep a look out for their new EP Pig Servant!

Exclusive Debut of the New Fuck the Facts Song "A Contre-Courant"

Topon Das asked me a few days ago if we would be down to debut a new Fuck the Facts song on Operation Grindcore. To which I replied "FUCK YEAH!" It's with great honor that we at Operation Grindcore debut the song "A Contre-Courant" from the upcoming "Misery" EP. NEW FUCK THE FACTS SONG! NEW FUCK THE FACTS SONG!

Good new's everyone! Fuck the Facts have debuted a brand new track called "A Cowards Existence" from their upcoming full-length "Die Miserable" today on their Bandcamp page, and boy is it a beast of a song! It wastes no time, starting right up with blast beats, dissonant riffs, and a layer of noisy feedback over everything. Very, very cool riffs throughout. In typical FTF fashion, it breaks into a more melodic passage halfway through the song (they seem to be one of the only bands that can get away with this). I really dig the production on this song, everything is very loud and punchy, the guitars sound great, and I like that the bass guitar is really audible in the mix. "Die Miserable" comes out October 11th on Relapse Records on CD and LP, which you can preorder now!. Listen to the track here, and definitely check these guys out live. No doubt there will be extensive touring in support of this album. Hopefully they come to your town!

Robocop Post New Track Preview

New Robocop Preview Mix In Progress by ryanpage

Maine grinders Robocop just posted a track from their last release(their guitar player/vocalist Ryan is moving to California), which is a split with the band Detroit. Here is their description of the track "The mix is in progress, but its somewhat close to its final form, with the exception of the vocals. Keep in mind that this a sample from a five minute song." This preview is sick! This song definitely sounds more straight forward, and seems to have a more grind influence from their previous stuff! As of right now Robocop II is my favorite release from 2011 and I am really stoked to hear some new stuff from these guys! What do you think about it?
